Reading enthralling stories is a great method of relaxation and stimulation, leading to exciting locations and situations that draw on every emotion. The scenarios presented generate visions that are unique to the reader. Writing also opens a world of exploration, usually taking a planned path but often being taken somewhere unexpected.

Henry's inspiration for writing come from his mother's stories but it is also fuelled by comics, books and movies. His interest turned to crime thrillers and as a child saw old film noir movies that grabbed his attention. He grew up watching old movies like, "The Maltese Falcon" and "Double Indemnity". The inevitable twist in the tale of these movies had him guessing how the plot would end, stimulating his imagination. Some books cannot be transferred to the big screen for multiple reasons and a good read cannot be bettered.
